Brady Calkins of Chehalis, Washington, beat Michael Colgate of Sarasota, Florida, in a playoff to win the pro title at the Hillcrest Invitational Pro-Am, which concluded on Sunday at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club.

Calkins and Colgate each shot a four-day score of 268, with Colgate shooting a final round 66 to close the gap. Tim Ailes of Delaware, Ohio, and Jesse Schutte of Florence, Oregon tie for third, one stroke off the lead.

The amateur title went to Bryan Lemkau of Muscatine, Iowa, shot a three-day score of 215 to earn top honors. Jason Merkel of Lincoln, Nebraska finished four strokes back, with Keegan Bach of Hinton, Iowa third at 220. Yankton’s Ryan Elwood (223) was fourth, with former Crofton standout Christian Nohr (Dakota Dunes) fifth at 226.

Victories in the lower amateur flights went to Jason Vanderkooi of Hinton, Iowa (2nd flight, 230), Mark Sullivan of Madison (3rd flight, 245) and Logan Megard of Yankton (4th flight, 243). Tony Erickson of Yankton and Lance Bollmeyer of Hinton, Iowa tied for top honors in the fifth flight, each shooting 266.

In the senior divisions, Steve Weiland of Yankton won first flight at 221, and Bill Bobzin of Yankton won second flight at 255.
