SIOUX FALLS — Emma Osmundson scored 25 points and nine rebounds to lead Sioux Falls Lincoln past Yankton 69-35 in girls’ basketball action on Saturday.

Morgan Hansen, a University of South Dakota recruit, finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Lincoln. Jaydyn Fikse added 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting in the victory.

Madison Wuebben led Yankton with 11 points. Kelsey Oswald had seven points. Hannah Muth finished with a team-high eight rebounds.

Yankton, 3-5, begins a weekend home stand with its fourth straight Sioux Falls opponent. The Gazelles host Roosevelt on Friday and return to Eastern South Dakota Conference play with Aberdeen Central a day later.

The Gazelles will have just two more home games after the weekend set, Feb. 13 against Watertown and Feb. 18 against Sioux Falls Christian. Yankton also has neutral-site games against Sturgis (Jan. 25 in Fort Pierre) and Harrisburg (Feb. 6 in Sioux Falls).

Lincoln is off until a trip to Mitchell on Jan. 21, the lone travel outside of Sioux Falls in a 13-game stretch.

Lincoln won the JV game 51-26. For Yankton, Paige Gullikson scored 11 points. Jillian Eidsness had three assists and three steals.

In the ‘C’ game, Lincoln scored a 54-32 victory. Britta Pietila led Yankton with nine points and five rebounds. Jenna Cox had five points and five rebounds.
