SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Christian, the two-time defending Class A champions, swept Yankton 25-18, 25-18, 25-15 in prep volleyball action on Monday.

Abby Glanzer had 10 kills and four assisted blocks, and Brooklyn Pater had nine kills and four assisted blocks for Sioux Falls Christian. Kelsi Heard finished with 29 assists. Jamaica Calkhoven had 10 digs and Katie Van Egdom had five assisted blocks in the victory.

Jordyn Salvatori had six kills and Gabby Pietila had five kills to lead Yankton. Camille McDermott posted 16 assists. Ivy Mines had nine digs, and Chloe McDermott had eight digs in the effort.

SFC, 16-8, travels to Canton today (Tuesday). Yankton, 0-16, hosts Brookings on Thursday.

SFC won the JV match 25-21, 21-25, 15-10. Chloe McDermott had 10 kills and seven digs, Salvatori had five kills and Ella Mulder had four kills for Yankton. Camille McDermott had 13 assists and two ace serves. Molly Savey posted seven digs. Halle Stphenson finished with four ace serves. Britta Pietila added two ace serves.

Sioux Falls Christian won the C-match 25-11, 25-20. For Yankton, Emily Reinhardt had six kills and 19 digs to lead the way. Addison Sedlacek posted 16 assists. Tatum Hohenthaner finished with two ace serves. Savey had 11 digs and Morgan Milk added 10 digs for the Gazelles.
