SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan kicker and punter Tate Gale has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in the Tigers’ 44-0 victory over Presentation on Saturday.

Gale, a sophomore from Irene, went 3-for-3 on field goals with a long of 30 yards. He was also 5-for-5 on PATs, recorded seven kickoffs for 381 yards, and added five punts for 154 yards, including a long of 51 yards.

DWU’s Luke Loudenburg earned Offensive Player of the Week honors. Briar Cliff’s Robert Robinson earned Defensive honors.
