HARTINGTON, Neb. — Host Hartington Cedar Catholic claimed the top two individual spots on the way to a 15-stroke victory in the team standings of the District C-3 Girls’ Golf Tournament, held Monday at Hartington Golf Club.

Led by Cassidy Ulrich’s 79 and Ireland Biltoft’s 85, Cedar Catholic posted a team score of 405. O’Neill was second at 420, with Pierce third at 421.

Paige Peters of TC (Pender/Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast co-op) finished third at 89, followed by Chelsey Reifert of Norfolk Catholic (92) and Sydney Erickson of Pierce (96).

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, which finished eighth at 472, qualified two golfers for state: Brooke Young (6th, 97) and Nicole Hanson (8th, 100).

The top three teams and top 10 golfers qualify for the State Class C Championships, Oct. 9-10 at North Platte, Nebraska.
