HARTFORD — Beresford’s Maiya Muller finished second in the girls’ 14-15 year-old division of the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour event on Tuesday at Central Valley Golf Course in Hartford.

In the girls’ 16-18 year-old division, Vermillion’s Alexandra Carr finished third with a 91. Springfield’s Makayla Kelley was fourth at 110.

In the boys’ 16-18 year-old division, Yankton’s Landon Moe finished fourth at 78. Quinn Bormann of Parkston (85), Jaron Pesicka of Parker (88) and Carter Kalda of Parkston (95) also competed in the event.

Yankton’s Dawson Vellek was fourth in the boys’ 14-15 year-old division, shooting an 82. Yankton’s Jake Cunningham (105) also competed in the event.

Vermillion’s Stephanie Carr was second in the girls’ 12-13 year-old division, shooting a 112.

Yankton’s Easton Vellek and Tate Beste finished fifth and sixth in the boys’ 11-under division, each shooting 39 for the nine-hole event. Vermillion’s Ronnie Wilharm was second in the girls’ 11-under division, shooting a 50.

The tour stops in Yankton on Thursday, playing at Fox Run Golf Course.
