WAGNER — Tysin Arpan’s basket with three seconds left lifted Wagner to a 53-52 victory over Tripp-Delmont-Armour in boys’ basketball action on Tuesday. The victory was the first of the season for the Red Raiders.
Arpan finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and five assists for Wagner. Jaden Peters had nine points, and Mato Perry added eight rebounds and four assists in the win.
Cade Gemar led TDA with 16 points. Kason Abedi scored 11 points and Micah Lau had eight assists for the Nighthawks.
Wagner travels to Chamberlain on Friday. TDA travels to Avon on Saturday.

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Dakota Valley used four players in double figures to overcome a game-high 37 points from A.J. Plitzuweit in a 77-67 victory over the Tanagers in boys’ basketball action on Tuesday.
Paul Bruns scored 18 points and Brennan Moran had 13 points for Dakota Valley. Jack Graves finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Jack McCabe scored 11 points and Nate Rice had seven assists in the win.
For Vermillion, Sam Ward scored 11 points. Plitzuweit also had nine rebounds and six assists.

FLANDREAU — Flandreau took control with a 19-9 edge in the third quarter on the way to a 70-58 victory over Parker in Big East Conference boys’ basketball action on Tuesday.
Dylan LeBrun scored 29 points on 4-9 shooting from three-point range for Flandreau. He also had nine rebounds and five assists.
Also for Flandreau, Connor LeBrun had 17 points, going 3-3 from three-point range, and four assists.
Trey Christensen led Parker with 22 points. Camden Bialas had 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five blocked shots. Chayse McKenney posted 10 points and four assists, and Alex Kasten had six assists in the effort.

SALEM—After six lead changes McCook Central-Montrose pulled away from Crofton led by a 22 point and 14 rebound night for Koltan Lindstrom.
Bryce Smart gave a 15 point, six rebound effort to compliment Lindstrom’s performance. Tucker Seamer added 11 points.
Crofton’s lead scorer was Noah Lancaster with 18 points. Andy Knap also collected four steals.
Rebounding was key as MCM out performed Crofton on the glass 47-26. MCM also shot 7-12 from three point range.

Trevor Sprik scored 20 points, and Cole Nachtigal had 16 points and eight assists for Platte-Geddes. Hayden Stluka posted 12 points and five assists, Kelby Vanderwerff had 10 points and Xavier Marshall had 10 rebounds in the win.
For Todd County, David Espinoza led the way with 15 points and seven rebounds. Bryce Hammer had 10 points.

Allen’s scoring effort was led by sophomore Brogan Jones, who scored 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Olson finished 18-25 from the field, including 7-11 from three-point range, for Sioux Valley. He also had five steals.
Also for Sioux Valley, Trevor Hanson had 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ryan Schuster scored 10 points and Jake Schneider had five assists.

Garrett Stout scored 14 points and Peyton Zabel had 12 points for Pierre, which trailed 32-28 after three quarters. Zabel also had 13 rebounds, four blocked shots and four steals in the victory.
For Huron, Kobe Busch led the way with 12 points and eight rebounds.

Riley Schafer scored 20 points, and Trever Woodall had 18 points and four steals for Brookings, which trailed 23-15 after one quarter. Drew Cole had 10 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
For Mitchell, Carter Cavanaugh scored a game-high 27 points and had four assists to lead the way. Kiel Nelson had 14 points and eight rebounds. Jordan Johnson added nine rebounds.
