Jack Nielsen and A.J. Bilslend combined for six hits, five RBI and three runs scored as Blair bounced Springfield-Platteview 10-3 in the semifinals of the Lewis & Clark Classic on Sunday at Riverside Field at Bob Tereshinski Stadium.

Nielsen went 3-5 with a triple and three RBI, and Bilslend went 3-4 with a double and two RBI for Blair. Max Nickerson also had two hits. Aidan Mohr and Jacob Rodriguez each doubled. Auggie Rasmussen added a hit in the win.

Ryan Roesler doubled and singled, and Grant Thomas and Caden Mathewson each had two hits for Springfield-Platteview. Colin Lynam tripled and Jordan Mathewson added a hit in the effort.

Jason Stewart went the distance in the win, holding Springfield-Platteview scoreless after the first two innings. Wyatt Webster took the loss.

S.F. West 10, Renner 2

Sioux Falls West pounded seven extra-base hits — six doubles and a Grady Gulbranson home run — in a 10-2 victory over Renner in the semifinals of the Lewis & Clark Classic on Sunday at Riverside Field at Bob Tereshinski Stadium.

Gulbranson, a Mount Marty College baseball recruit, finished 2-2 with a home run, a double, two RBI and four runs scored. Karsten Grove also had two hits, including a double. Aidan Thomas had a three-run double, Ben Simonsen had a two-run double, and Matt Fiegen and Joe Lund each added doubles. John Rogers added a hit in the win.

Andy Moen had a RBI triple for Renner. Sam Stukel and Reece Arbogast each had a hit.

Mason Crow went the distance in the win, striking out four in the six-inning contest. Kobe Lien took the loss.
