Vermillion’s Alexandra Carr shot an 84 to win the girls’ 16-18 year-old division at the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour event held Thursday at Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course.

Flandreau’s Grace Johanson was second at 88.

Jackson Eggebraaten of Sioux Falls won the boys’ 16-18 year-old title, shooting a 72 to beat Harrisburg’s Will Allen by three strokes. Yankton’s Jimmie Cunningham was sixth at 77, with Yankton’s Landon Moe eighth at 82. Yankton’s Jace Tramp also made the top 10, shooting an 83 to place 10th.

Canton’s Olivia Sorlie won the girls’ 14-15 year-old division with a 95, two strokes better than Maiya Muller of Beresford. Yankton’s Jillian Eidsness was third at 103.

William Sanford of Sioux Falls won the boys’ 14-15 year-old title, one stroke better than Liam Sarmiento of Sioux Falls. Yankton’s Gavin Haselhorst (83) was fourth, with Dawson Vellek (84) seventh and Henry Homstad (85) eighth.

Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink won the girls’ 12-13 year-old division with a 101, Vermillion’s Stephanie Carr (117) was second, with Abigail Svatos of Lake Andes (119) third.

Dylan Susemihl of LeMars, Iowa won the boys’ 12-13 year-old division with a 78, three strokes better than Tea’s Keeton Newborg. Yankton’s Hunter Bose (88) was fourth, with Vermillion’s Karson Preister (94) seventh.

Vermillion’s Ronnie Wilharm won the girls’ 11-under division, shooting a 51 for nine holes.

Yankton’s Easton Vellek won the boys’ 11-under division with a 34, three strokes better than the next two competitors. Yankton’s Tate Beste and Vermillion’s Rylan Moran each shot 39, finishing fifth and sixth.

Points are accumulated at each SDGA Junior Tour event for those earning top-five finishes within his or her division.
