WOLSEY — Bon Homme topped Wolsey-Wessington 37-36 Friday night.

Skylar Zomer carried the ball 23 times for 82 yards and a touchdown for Wolsey-Wessington (2-1). Marty Gohn and Caleb Liebnow contributed 38 yards a piece.

No offensive stats reported for Bon Homme (3-0). Joshua Crownover led the Cavaliers defense with 14 tackles. Nate Scieszinski contributed 12 tackles and Caleb Liebnow 10.

Eric Klanchniuk led Wolsey-Wessington with 15 tackles. Corbin Haarmeyer added 14 tackles and Jake Williams and Brevan Hooks 12 apiece.

Bon Homme plays Parkston in Tyndall next Friday. Wolsey Wessington travels to Gregory next Friday for a game with Gregory.

Alcester-Hudson 44, Centerville 0

CENTERVILLE — Logan Serck and Izaak Reed accounted for six touchdowns in Alcester-Hudson’s 44-0 win over Centerville on Friday night.

Serck threw for three touchdowns and added another score on the ground to lead the Cubs (3-0). Serck eclipsed 90 yards through the air and 89 yards on the ground. Reed ran for 61 yards and two scores. Jovey Christensen led the team with 100 rushing yards. Jaxon Doering (17 yards), Kolby Schiefen (17 yards) and Alex Winquist (13 yards) each hauled in a touchdown reception.

Jack Walters rushed for 55 yards and Hunter Ellis passed for 53 yards to lead Centerville (0-2).

Walters had 16 tackles and Ellis had 13 tackles for the Tornadoes defense. Owen Hunter recovered a fumble.

Centerville takes on Avon in Avon next Friday. Alcester-Hudson hosts Dell Rapids St. Mary in Alcester next Friday.

Kimball/White Lake 46, Parkston 20

PARKSTON – Nolan Kirsch led the Kimball/White Lake WildKats to a 46-20 victory over the Parkston Trojans on Friday night in Parkston.

Kirsch started off the game with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Wyatt Talbott, before also completing a 63-yard touchdown pass to Justin Becker. Kirsch would finish the night with 194 yards passing, while also had a 1-yard run in the third quarter. Rafe Kiehn would take over for WildKats in the second quarter with a 41-yard touchdown pass to Justin Bester. Later in the second quarter, Kiehn would have an 8-yard touchdown run to put Kimball/White Lake up 32-20 at halftime.

The Trojans, however, were able to put up multiple touchdowns of their own. A Nate Doering 66-yard touchdown pass to Nathan Boetcher put Parkston within 2 points of Kimball/White Lake, before Max Scott had an 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter to keep the game within reach for the Trojans. Rylan Leischner would then have a 69-yard touchdown run to close out the second quarter for the Trojans. However, a Wyatt Talbott-led defense for Kimball/White Lake shutout the Trojans in the second half. Talbott would finish with five tackles on the night.

The WildKats will play again on Sept. 20 in Platte against Platte-Geddes. Meanwhile, Parkston will travel to Tyndall next Friday to face Bon Homme.

Santee 51, Hampton 38

SANTEE, Neb. — Romeo White rushed for 297 yards and four touchdowns to lead Santee past Hampton 51-38 in prep football action on Friday.

Antonio Hoffman completed two passes to Orion Archambeau, both for touchdowns, for Santee. Xavier Denney rushed for two scores in the victory.

Archambeau led the Santee defense with 11 tackles. White picked off a pass. Hoffman recovered a fumble in the victory.

Santee, 1-0, hosts McCool Junction on Thursday.
