Due to expected poor weather conditions throughout the state later this week, the South Dakota High School Activities Association has made changes to upcoming rounds in the boys’ and girls’ soccer playoffs.
Class AA quarterfinal and Class A semifinal matches that were scheduled for Saturday will now be held on Monday, Oct. 14.
Yankton is scheduled to host two post-season matches, as the Bucks host Aberdeen Central and the Gazelles host O’Gorman.
Play at Crane-Youngworth Field will begin at 3 p.m. with the Mount Marty men’s soccer team against Mary, followed by the Yankton boys’ match at 5:30 p.m. and the Yankton girls’ match at 7:30 p.m.
Also affected by the change is the Vermillion boys’ soccer team, which will now travel to Sioux Falls Christian on Monday in the Class A semifinals.
