SIOUX FALLS — Yankton and area teams got rolling Friday at the South Dakota USA Softball State Girls’ Fastpitch Tournament in Sioux Falls.

FURY RED 4, R.C. INFERNO 3: The Yankton Fury Red scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to complete a comeback from an early 3-0 deficit and defeat the Rapid City Inferno late Friday night.
Yankton got RBI singles from Annika Gordon and Regan Garry in the bottom of the seventh for the walkoff victory.
Gordon doubled and singled, and Camryn Zoeller had two hits for Yankton. Garry, Brooklyn Townsend, Izzy Wintz and Hannah Sailer each had a hit in the win.
The comeback made a winner of Bailey Sample, who struck out 12, walked none and allowed no hits in six innings of relief.
RAMPAGE 9, FURY BLACK 7: There were a total of 10 runs scored in the first inning, but Rampage held on to beat Yankton Fury Black 9-7 on Friday morning.
Olivia Binde tripled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in three runs for Yankton, while Camryn Koletzky singled twice and scored twice. Emma Herrboldt had two RBI and Payton Moser also scored two runs.
Binde pitched six innings with five strikeouts.
PARKSTON 10, PIERRE 1: Tiah Holzbauer allowed one run over six innings and also tripled at the plate for Parkston in a 10-1 victory over Pierre on Friday afternoon.
Maci DeGeest singled twice and drove in two runs for Parkston, while Baylee Schoenfelder and Allison Ziebart both doubled and singled. Ziebart also scored three runs.
PARKSTON 11, PURPLE MENACE 6: Baylee Schoenfelder and Tiah Holzbauer both singled twice for Parkston in an 11-6 victory over Purple Menace on Friday evening.
Lindsey Roth and Schoenfelder both scored twice, and Holzbauer also had two RBI. Maci DeGeest pitched five innings, with six strikeouts.
