University of Wisconsin men’s basketball assistant coach Joe Krabbenhoft will be the featured speak at the Yankton Fellowship of Christian Athletes “Evening of Champions” event on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Yankton High School.

Krabbenhoft, a 2005 graduate of Sioux Falls Roosevelt and a 2009 graduate of Wisconsin, joined the Wisconsin staff in 2016 after three seasons at South Dakota State. He also played professional, including two summers with the Portland Trailblazers’ Summer League team, a season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce and seasons in South Korea, Spain and Greece. Krabbenhoft and his wife, Sara, have four children.

The event will begin with a pizza feed in the YHS Commons beginning at 5:30 p.m., with the program in the YHS Theatre beginning at 6 p.m. Both are free to the public.
