MADISON — Two area bowlers were among the over 50 participants in the South Dakota State Senior Bowling Tournament, held Nov. 24 in Madison.

In the men’s ‘E’ (50-54) handicap division, Yankton’s William “Willie” Crews finished fourth with a score of 1,350. Crews teamed up with Douglas “Doug” Whipple to tie for 11th in doubles with a score of 1,312.

The overall male champion is Scott Hoeke from Milbank and the overall female champion is Christine Fineday from Sisseton.
