The City of Yankton Parks and Recreation rolls out its first Touch A Truck — a fun family event on Saturday, June 8, at Calvary Baptist Church parking lot from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Touch A Truck is designed to allow children to touch, learn and explore different vehicles that support, build and protect our community. There will be fun for everyone in the family — meet the drivers, learn how the equipment works, honk the horns, push the buttons or join the Yankton Community Library under the tent at 10:30 a.m. for a themed story-time followed by a construction craft project.

Not all kids love the loud sounds and bright lights. Touch A Truck opens up with a siren-free zone from 10-11 a.m.
