A pastor writing political letters to the editor? Well, God is God; Jesus saves; discipleship involves seeking justice, loving mercy and walking humbly with God.

Messrs/Ms Trump, Thune, Rounds and Noem are not God and not worthy of worship. When religion and politics fuse, it’s time to check your religion. Beware of false prophets.

Good news – God is neither Republican nor Democrat but independent, and very liberal with grace.

Jesus is truth. Judge Kavanaugh, Attorney General Barr, lie under oath and “individual 1” has over 4,000 lies. “I don’t care if he lies just so he gets things done.” Didn’t work for Jesus being tempted in the desert by Satan, the prince of lies. I write to our U.S. Senators and Ms. Noem with these words: thou shalt not lie, kill or steal. Their decisions can do all three, e.g. tax cut.

The “DC3” — Sens Thune and Rounds and (then) Rep. Noem — demonstrated racism toward a black president teeing up Mr. Trump for Muslims, Mexicans, et al. Ms. Noem continues toward our Native American brothers and sisters, e.g. Pine Ridge. In Sunday School we sang “red and yellow, black and white (and brown), they are precious in his sight.” I still believe that.

In the name of religion people cherry pick perceived sins, different sexual preference, people who abort, liberal, etc. but bless paying prostitutes. The First Commandment is having no other gods than God. People play God and judge “different” people. It’s a sin to play God. I believe everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Per Romans 13, democracy is a gift from God. It needs to be protected against dictator/kings.

Why do I write? Simply love of God, godliness, democracy and all neighbors. Integrity lacks from leadership. It must come from God through us, bottom up.

Beware of false prophets.

You’re correct, but there’s many different faiths. As Robert Burns, sitting in church watching a women seated ahead of him, said in “To A Louse†O would some great power, the gift to give us, to see ourselves as others see us.

In Sunday School we sang “red and yellow, black and white (and brown), they are precious in his sight.†I still believe that. - but only if they are liberals. You write in the love of democracy but you vote spew socialism. Drop the "Rev" already.

While the Bill of Rights protects us from the tyranny of an oppressive government, many in the establishment would like the American people to submit to the tyranny of oligarchs, multinational corporations, Wall Street banks, and billionaires.
