SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Sioux Falls police have arrested a 28-year-old man for second-degree robbery following the holdup of First Savings Bank east of the downtown area Wednesday afternoon.

Law officers say Max Boor of Sioux Falls gave the teller a note demanding money just after 12:30 p.m. The teller complied, and police say Boor left the bank.

A description of the getaway vehicle was quickly broadcast, and it was stopped nearby in a matter of minutes.

There were no reports of any injuries. The amount of cash taken was not disclosed, but police said it was recovered.

Two other people in the vehicle also were jailed. The driver, 33-year-old Shannon Heggeseth, was arrested for having meth, and 28-year-old Mark Gordon Green was arrested on a parole violation. Both are from Sioux Falls.
