First Dakota National Bank will host AgriVisions 2019 featuring Chad Colby and Travis Potter on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Best Western Kelly Inn, 1607 East Highway 50, Yankton, with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m. and presentations beginning at 7 p.m. Farmers, Agri-Business professionals and business owners are invited to attend.

Nate Franzen, president of First Dakota’s Agri-Business Division, states, “Mark Thursday, Feb. 21, on your calendar and plan to attend AgriVisions 2019. Chad Colby is a sought-after agricultural technology expert. You will gain a unique perspective on ways to improve performance of your farm or ranch through the use of new technologies. Chad will be joined by Travis Potter, who is a pioneer in the organic food industry. He was involved in organic growing before it was called organic growing. Both our speakers have a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of agriculture. Join us for Agrivisions 2019.”

Colby is the founder and principal of Colby AgTech, where he works with farmers, leading companies, and government agencies to provide a deeper understanding of new technologies and recommendations on its practical applications. Colby shares his knowledge and passion of agriculture by having one of the largest social media footprints in agriculture. He provides field reports and a weekly segment on technology on the TV program “This Week in Agribusiness” hosted by Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson. More information can be found at www.colbyagtech.com.

Potter, founder of Tractor Soda Company, has spent his entire life working in agriculture as a farmer and pioneer in the organic food industry. Travis pioneered the first organic beef ranch and artisan meat company. He has done everything from working in the organic yogurt industry to non-dairy desserts and organic ice cream. Travis currently lives in Idaho with his wife and 11 kids. Travis leads the way in the farm to fork movement in many companies like Landback, 52 Fresh, and Frontier Protein.

AgriVisions 2019 begins with registration from 6:30-7 p.m. and Mr. Colby and Mr. Potter’s presentations at 7 p.m. An ice cream social will follow the presentation. Go to FirstDakotaAg.com to register online today, or call 605-665-4904 or 800-657-5826 to reserve a seat.
