MENNO — Make plans to attend the annual “Old-Fashioned Christmas Worship Service” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, south of Menno.

Before the rush of the season begins, join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus in a simpler, old-fashioned way. The worship service is in a country church, which includes a Chrismon Christmas tree, candlelight, children’s Nativity, and some Norwegian and German singing.

Feel free to come dressed in attire from another period of time, whether that is from the 1800s, 1940s or simply Grandpa’s bibs or top off your attire with Grandma’s church hat.

Fellowship and lunch with some ethnic foods will follow.

Church is located six miles south of Menno, 10 miles west of the intersection of highways 46 and 81 to 431 Avenue, then north five miles on 431 Avenue, just shortly after you cross the James River by the Stone Church intersection.
