The South Dakota Department of Health began a free, two-day mass testing event Tuesday, with South Dakota National Guardsmen set up in the Yankton Mall parking lot to oversee the self-administered tests. RIGHT: Press & Dakotan reporter Cora Van Olson is shown self-testing for COVID-19 at Tuesday’s event. Van Olson will be able to look up her results online in 3-5 days. Mass testing is free and is designed to identify COVID-positive individuals who are asymptomatic and may be unintentionally spreading the disease. The event continues today (Wednesday) from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, visit: https://doineedacovid19test.com/. (Kelly Hertz/P&D)
