Lighting The Night

Approximately 50 people turned out at sunset Friday night to watch the official resurrection of the Kip’s star above Tastee Treat on Fourth St. The Neo Lectra neon star shone above the former Kip’s Inn restaurant in Yankton for nearly 20 years until the restaurant was sold in 1982. The star was saved from disposal last year and refurbished to again light up Yankton’s night. To view a video, scan this photo with your Yankton Interactive app.
