First Things First?

Yankton received 6 inches of snow over the weekend, throwing a white blanket on some of the decorations set out for Halloween this weekend. Yankton recorded 3.5 inches of snow Sunday, breaking a record of 2.5 inches set in 1918. Another 2.5 inches was measured Monday. Yankton also saw a record low temperature of 15 degrees Saturday, snapping the previous mark of 17 degrees set in 1887. Temperatures are expected to gradually rise into the mid 50s by Halloween, which should chase most of the snow away.
