Back On The Menu

After missing a year due to last fall’s COVID-19 surge, the Yankton Community Feast returned to Calvary Baptist Church Wednesday where a large crowd turned out for a free Thanksgiving meal. Volunteers mobilized not only to serve the hundreds who attended but to also deliver dinners to shut-ins throughout the community. That help came from far and wide — literally: Here, Aisha Kademova (left), a 17-year-old exchange student from Kazakhstan, helped hand out dinner rolls on the serving line.
