Clouds Over Meridian

Low clouds are shown swooping in over the Meridian Bridge early Monday morning in this photo taken by Press & Dakotan Circulation Director Steve Swenson. On Thursday, the clouds, as well as an unseasonable chill, covered the Yankton area, with the high temperature only reaching 54 degrees. The Yankton airport also reported .2 inches of rain. Temperatures are expected to warm slightly into the low 60s, still below normal, today (Friday) and remain in that range through much of the holiday weekend.
