Door Prize

Aly Fedde of Yankton is currently working to complete a special summer project: painting a mural on a small door on the west side of Trinity Lutheran Church. The project was suggested to her by a woman at the church last summer as a way to draw attention to the nearby Little Free Library, which features children’s books. Fedde said she came up with the concept last summer and began working on it this past June. It shows a world of imagination opening up for children when they read books. Fedde hopes to finish the project this week before she heads off to Middlebury College in Vermont this weekend, but if not, she will finish it at a later date.
