At the Ram Rodeo Extreme Bull Riding Tour event Saturday night, a woman in the crowd (a Parkston native living in Texas) was brought out to take part in a comedy routine with rodeo clown Disco Dalton Morris during an intermission. Normandy Wood Craft, featuring the works of Curt Norman of Omaha, Nebraska, won the Best of Show award in the Fine Arts division of the Riverboat Days Summer Arts Festival, sponsored by Yankton Area Arts.
The D.C. Lynch Shows returned to the Yankton Mall parking lot in conjunction with Riverboat Days. Rides included the flying swings, although some riders found the time to use their smartphones in the process.
