Falkenberg Indicted In Death Of Yankton Woman

A Yankton man accused of murdering a local woman has been indicted.

According to a press release from the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office received by the Press & Dakotan Monday, Stephen Falkenberg, 45, Yankton, was indicted on one count of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree manslaughter by a Yankton County grand jury.

The charges stem from the March 1 death of 46-year old Tamara LaFramboise of Yankton. LaFramboise’s body was discovered in Menominee County, Michigan on March 16.
