Daily Record Policy

The Press & Dakotan publishes police and sheriff reports as a public service to its readers. It is important to remember that an arrest should not imply guilt and that every person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. When juveniles are released from jail, it is into the care of a parent or guardian.

It is the policy of the Press & Dakotan to publish all names made available in the police and court reports. There are no exceptions.

• Brianna Williams, 28, Yankton, was arrested Thursday on a probation hold.

• Olivia Cournoyer, 29, Wagner, was arrested Thursday on a court hold.

• Aaron Starr, 40, Yankton, was arrested Thursday on a parole hold.

• Cody Dietz, 25, Yankton, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for breach of conditions.

• Michael Thomas, 27, Sioux City, Iowa, was arrested Thursday on a parole hold.

• Makayla Klein, 22, Le Mars, Iowa, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for contributing to abuse, neglect or delinquency or causing a child in need of supervision.

• Michael Shelhamer, 29, Utica, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for breach of conditions.

• Ryan Aadland, 33, Yankton, was arrested Thursday on a parole hold.

• Angela Denney, 44, Springfield, was booked Thursday on a facility hold for the Bon Homme County Sheriff’s Office.

• Emily Berry, 33, Pierre, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear.
