United Way of Greater Yankton’s volunteer group, LINC (Lead. Impact. Network. Change.) is celebrating 3 years of giving back to the greater Yankton community.

LINC is focused on harnessing the power of early-career individuals who are passionate about local issues and what United Way of Greater Yankton is doing to change lives and improve our community. LINC members get behind worthy causes, make a difference and network with other young professionals.

LINC delivers unique social and volunteer events to members 21 and over. There is no membership fee to participate in monthly LINC events, just opportunities to take part in volunteer service projects and get to know other young adults who are passionate about giving back.

This past year, over 40 LINC members contributed over 300 hours of service to benefit local nonprofit organizations — impacting over 1,000 lives.

10 LINC members helped United Way sort, set up and inventory the Stuff the Bus School Supply Store, which served over 150 local youth.
