PARKSTON — A Yankton woman has been identified as the person who died early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash near Parkston.

According to a press release from the Department of Public Safety, a 2010 Acura TSX was westbound on South Dakota Highway 44 two miles west of Parkston when the driver lost control on the icy-covered road at 3:58 a.m. The vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled.

The driver, 30-year-old Quincy Greaves, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only person involved.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
