Daily Record Policy

The Press & Dakotan publishes police and sheriff reports as a public service to its readers. It is important to remember that an arrest should not imply guilt and that every person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. When juveniles are released from jail, it is into the care of a parent or guardian.

It is the policy of the Press & Dakotan to publish all names made available in the police and court reports. There are no exceptions.

Arrests

• Steven Paulus, 46, Yankton, was arrested Friday for driving with a revoked license.

• Anthony Pewo, 34, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a parole hold and warrants for grand theft and failure to appear.

• Rusty Locke, 33, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a warrant for grand theft.

• Jenny Brown, 37, Yankton, was arrested Friday for driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

• A 15-year-old Yankton male was arrested Friday for simple assault.

• Mark Parr, 61, Sioux Falls, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence.

• Francisco Ortega, 19, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for aggravated eluding a law enforcement officer (felony), possession with intent to distribute marijuana (1/2 pound-1 pound) and possession of marijuana (2 oz.-1/2 pound).

• Ethan Phillips, 20, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for possession of marijuana (1/2 pound-1 pound), possession with intent to distribute marijuana (1/2 pound-1 pound) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christopher Bear, 40, Mitchell, was arrested Sunday on a parole hold for unauthorized ingestion of a controlled drug or substance.

• Darrick Snow, 48, Yankton, was arrested Monday on a probation hold.
