Daily Record Policy

The Press & Dakotan publishes police and sheriff reports as a public service to its readers. It is important to remember that an arrest should not imply guilt and that every person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. When juveniles are released from jail, it is into the care of a parent or guardian.

It is the policy of the Press & Dakotan to publish all names made available in the police and court reports. There are no exceptions.

Arrests

• Nicholas Diede, 33, Freeman, was arrested Friday on a parole hold.

• Von Allen Vangenderen, 46, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear.

• Michael Martinez, 27, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a parole hold and warrants for failure to appear and breach of conditions.

• Jeremiah Nelson, 42, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a warrant.

• Jacob Lefebvere, 41, Yankton, was arrested Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia, false impersonation with intent to deceive law enforcement, contempt of court and on two warrants for breach of conditions and a warrant for failure to appear.

• Terry Hackett, 57, Norfolk, Neb., was arrested Friday for driving with a revoked license.

• A 15-year-old Yankton female was arrested Friday for disturbance of school and simple assault.

• Jeremiah Horst, 37, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for speeding and driving under the influence.

• Heather Rokahr, 35, Elgin, Neb., was booked Saturday on a facility hold for the Bon Homme County Sheriff’s Office.

• Delwin Walter Jr., 31, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear.

• Amanda Hirocke, 40, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a probation hold for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Carlie Davis, 25, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on a parole hold.

• Donald Miller Jr., 45, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear.

• Andrew St. Pierre, 35, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for driving with a revoked license.

• Charlotte Charette, 45, Yankton, was arrested Monday for simple assault (domestic).
