Daily Record Policy

The Press & Dakotan publishes police and sheriff reports as a public service to its readers. It is important to remember that an arrest should not imply guilt and that every person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. When juveniles are released from jail, it is into the care of a parent or guardian.

It is the policy of the Press & Dakotan to publish all names made available in the police and court reports. There are no exceptions.

Arrests

• Brian Westrom, 19, Viborg, was arrested Friday for driving under the influence (first) and open container in illegal lane.

• Kimberly Spotted Calf, 53, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a parole hold for the South Dakota Department of Corrections.

• Toby Henson, 45, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a Kingsbury County bench warrant and for aggravated assault/domestic.

• William High Hawk, 27, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a parole hold for the South Dakota Department of Corrections.

• Calvin Thompson, 56, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for failure to stop for road block, driving under the influence and a probation hold for court services.

• Daniel Gravholt, 40, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for maintenance of financial responsibility, possession of loaded firearm while intoxicated and driving under the influence.

• Ray Jackson, 36, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for simple assault/domestic and a probation hold for court services.

• Cody Walton, 23, Mission, Kansas, was arrested Saturday for boating under the influence.

• Adam Cary, 37, Centerville, was arrested Saturday on a parole hold for the South Dakota Department of Corrections and for boating under the influence.

• Kyle Katterhagen, 23, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for boating under the influence.

• Ramon Meyer, 31, Yankton, was arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct.

• Sapphire Big Eagle, 25, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for driving with a revoked license, failure to appear after release (Lincoln County), bench warrant for failure to appear (Lincoln County) and false impersonation with intent to deceive law enforcement.

• Issaiah Roberts, 40, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for possession of controlled substance in Schedules I or II.

• Jesse Florek, 33, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on a parole hold for the South Dakota Department of Corrections.

• Michael Hirchert, 60, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for entering or refusing to leave property without notice.

• Amber Hursell, 25, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for simple assault/domestic (three counts).

• Charles Thornton, 19, Yankton, was arrested Monday for possession of substances with high potential for abuse, distribution to a minor and possession of controlled substance.
