COVID Update for Nov. 19, 2021

Classes at Yankton’s Sacred Heart Schools have been canceled next Monday and Tuesday due to a rise in COVID-19 infections.

In an email sent out Friday to school parents and obtained by the Press & Dakotan, Principal Laura Haberman said the cases involve “both students and staff.”

She said, “In light of our current circumstances and out of our desire to ensure we provide the best possible educational experience, we have decided to cancel classes next week on Monday, November 22 (full day) and Tuesday, November 23 (half day).” She added that the cancellation of classes was being done to allow families and staff time to recover from their illnesses, to let families monitor symptoms prior to the week following the Thanksgiving break and to give custodial staff sufficient time to clean the school buildings.

Haberman also encouraged families to have students wear masks when they return to school following the Thanksgiving break.

“When face masks are worn, they not only protect you, but protect others,” she wrote. “We encourage families to consider sending their child(ren) with face masks following the Thanksgiving Holiday and during the high infection rate time of year.”

Next week’s canceled days will not be made up later in the school year, Haberman noted.

“We will continue to monitor our current strategies and adjust accordingly,” she said. “Thank you for your understanding! We pray for the health of your family, our school community and the community around us.”

School officials could not be reached for further comment.

Meanwhile, the Yankton School District reported 31 active cases as of late Friday, the largest number so far this semester. Eleven cases were reported last week. Friday’s numbers broke out as follows: Yankton High School, 5; Yankton Middle School, 7; Beadle School, 8; Lincoln School, 4; Stewart School, 2; and Webster School 5.

Statewide, COVID-19 booster shots in South Dakota surged past the 100,000 mark Friday, according to the daily update from the Department of Health (DOH).

Third shots of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, plus the Johnson & Johnson booster shots, rose to 118,094, an increase of almost 19,000 from Thursday, the DOH online portal reported.

Active cases continued to climb, rising to 6,820 (+45), the highest level since Oct. 5.

Current hospitalizations fell to 234 (-12). Nineteen new hospitalizations were reported.

Locally, Yankton County recorded just three new positive tests Friday, snapping a streak of 10 straight reporting days of reaching double digits in new cases. There were 20 recoveries posted, lowering the number of active cases to 170.

Charles Mix County reported 12 new cases, the fourth time in five days the county has seen at least 10 new infections.

Union County also reported 12 new infections Friday.

"Locally, Yankton County recorded just three new positive tests..."

Tests?

Beware highly-narrative Headline "News".

Those "tests" are actually most often RT-PCR diagnostic kits, not tests. As per their manufacturers.

Also, as per their manufacturers specificity data sheets, most of those RT-PCR diagnostic kits detect gene segments for a large number of different viruses, including influenza.

But people are being misled into improperly misidentifying all those as "covid".

We are being led blindly into the Era of Fear.

And profit is the main factor in that culture of fear.

True common-sense and logical public health policies are being displaced for greater corporate earnings (at the behest of the largest Big asset Management firms & Big Banks, whom exist as the largest Investors of those corporations).

Back in 2018, the mega-investment bank Goldman Sachs published a report entitled The Genome Revolution.

In that report, it warned of dangers to sustained profit that true medical cures would inflict.

It called for profit "innovations" in medicine to sustain investor profits.

In a section titled "Sustainability and pricing..." , it states:

"...where it is possible to cure a large proportion

of the prevalent patient pool (or at least prevent

an additional dose from being required for an

extended period). While this proposition

carries tremendous value for patients and

society, it could represent a challenge for

genome medicine developers looking for

sustained cash flow."

No consider the continual and repeated calls for "booster shots".

I.e., sustained profits.

Back in the 1990's, as many tech & software companies were looking for more long-term & sustained profits, they began devising plans to crank out more frequent "upgrades".

And it worked.

And they are cranking out more & more costly "upgrades" at more frequent intervals ever since.

For the sake of profit.

The exact same is being done for "medicine" now.

Prior to the "pandemic", one of the greatest concerns for the CDC and other agencies was the growing corruption of the medical industry (including the pharmaceutical industry), aka Big Med & Big Pharma.

The Big Pharma industry is the largest spender on political & bureaucratic Lobbying in the world.

It is also one of the fastest growing industries in the world (with revenue & profit outpacing most all other industries).

Big Business had learned long ago that Lobbying offered one of the greatest ROI's of all business activities.

So, true concern for public health?

Or just more massive profit for Big Med. Big Pharma, and Big Insurance?

Edward Bernays has often been called the "Father of Propaganda".

Bernays was a Nephew of Sigmund freud, and often bragged about his abilities to use psychoanalysis to manipulate public thoughts, habits, trends, etc.

He wrote a book called Propaganda in 1928, and exposed many of his secrets of manipulating the human mind.

In that book, Edward Bernays wrote:

"If you can influence the leaders, either with or without their conscious cooperation, you automatically influence the group which they sway. But men do not need to be actually gathered together in a public meeting or in a street riot, to be subject to the influences of mass psychology. Because man is by nature gregarious he feels himself to be member of a herd, even when he is alone in his room with the curtains drawn. His mind retains the patterns which have been stamped on it by the group influences."

An example of this would be to distribute RT-PCR diagnostic kits (that show "positives" for a large number of different viruses, including common flu & colds) to places like schools, whom then use those kits on students, returning many "positive" results (as many students will see at least some degree of evan minute viral loads of one of those numerous viruses).

Those schools, with minimally-trained "healthcare" staff (those that don't understand the non-specificity of those kits), will then report those generic & overbroad "positives" to the media.

That uninformed media will then report those unreliable reports to the general public.

Resulting in even more misinformation.

And irrational hysteria.

The media can no longer afford to hire true Investigative Journalists.

They most often most always have to rely on the copying & pasting of force-fed info.

This is how the Dark Ages of the 21st century plays out.

Ruled by the spread of lightning-fast propaganda.
