VERMILLION — The Vermillion Public Library will host a special visit from the author of “Frog Creek Road,” Dr. Norma Wilson, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.

Wilson’s book of poetry draws readers into the wonder of nature, whether it’s the startling appearance of an unexpected animal or the worked-for observation of animals oblivious to human presence. Follow the seasonal changes from winter through autumn during a 36-year period during the author’s life with her family, friends, and the flora and fauna surrounding her home on a prairie bluff in Vermillion.

Wilson will be signing copies and reading passages from her new book at this free event.
