Daily Record Policy

The Press & Dakotan publishes police and sheriff reports as a public service to its readers. It is important to remember that an arrest should not imply guilt and that every person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. When juveniles are released from jail, it is into the care of a parent or guardian.

It is the policy of the Press & Dakotan to publish all names made available in the police and court reports. There are no exceptions.

Arrests

• Justin Hambrick, 39, Yankton, was booked Friday on a facility hold for the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

• Joseph Vasques, 28, Parkston, was arrested Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

• Ryan Hunter, 34, Yankton, was arrested Friday on a warrant for breach of conditions without order.

• Cory Venables, 33, Yankton, was arrested Friday for display of plates and driving with a revoked license.

• Zachary Houska, 32, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a parole hold.

• Kristine Goolsby, 22, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear.

• Kathryn Kokesh, 57, Wagner, was arrested Saturday for second-degree petty theft and entering or refusing to leave a property after notice (order defied).

• Carlie Davis, 25, Yankton, was arrested Saturday on a parole hold for a stop sign violation, false impersonation with intent to deceive law enforcement and driving under the influence.

• Emma Badhorse, 37, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on two warrants for failure to appear.

• Tyler Mutchler, 32, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana (2 oz. or less).

• Nicholas Frazier, 20, Utica, was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence; purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana (2 oz. or less).

• Paul Selzler Jr., 31, Yankton, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance and keeping a place for use or sale of a controlled substance.

• Trevor Harrison, 33, Yankton, was arrested Sunday for leaving an accident scene (unattended vehicle), simple assault and on a warrant for non-support of a minor child.
