The Yankton Library’s new Teens Create program is continuing through the spring. Middle schoolers and high schoolers are invited to join the staff each Monday after school in trying their hand at a fun new art or craft each week (or two, depending on the difficulty of the project).

While they create, the group will listen to an audio book from this year’s YARP list — “Not If I Save You First” by Ally Carter, about Maddie, a daughter of a past Secret Service agent and Logan, the son of the president. Their longtime friendship is thought to be over until Logan is sent to the Alaskan wilderness to stay with Maddie and her father. Logan’s appearance is followed by the disappearance of her father. Soon Maddie and Logan are thrust into an adventure to save themselves and Maddie’s father and unravel the mystery of the man who is now hunting them through the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.

So, come enjoy an exciting adventure story and join in on the fun on Monday afternoons.

A reminder that there will be no Teens Create Event on Monday, Feb. 17, as the library will be closed for Presidents’ Day.
