Well-behaved pets on leashes (and their owners) are invited to a winter hike at Lewis & Clark Recreation Area Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.

Participants will meet at the Gavins Point Boat Ramp and walk 2.4 miles along the scenic lakeside and park trails. After the hike, there will be a bonfire and hot chocolate available for guests.

Don’t have a pet? No problem. Come enjoy a beautiful winter day and stretch your legs.

For further information, contact the park office at (605) 668-2985 and ask for Jake. A park entrance license is required.
