The Yankton Community Library, 515 Walnut Street, will be hosting “Weekend at the Oscars” on Saturday, Feb. 8, and Sunday, Feb. 9. The annual event, held the weekend of the Academy Awards, features four nominated movies in a variety of categories.

“Harriet,” rated PG-13 will kick off the event on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. The afternoon movies include “Judy,” rated PG-13, starting at 12:30, and “Joker,” rated R, at 2:45 p.m. All three movies run about 2 hours.

The Sunday movie, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” starts at 1:30 p.m. The movie, rated R, will end at approximately 4:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be complimentary popcorn available to attendees thanks to a donation from Craizy Daisy’s Gourmet Popcorn. You are also welcome to bring your own treats for the showings.
