Bonnie Wardell and Allie Conklin have been awarded team members of the month within the Burger King Corporation. This is the first time that Grandmother and Granddaughter have been awarded the honor of Team member of the month at the same time.

Wardell has been with the company eight months. She works during the day on the front counter. Wardell received this award because of her attention to guest satisfaction, calmness during peak periods, and finally, with the positive attitude of constantly making herself a better team member. In her spare time Bonnie likes to read and sitting on the boat with her husband, Larry while he fishes. Wardell attends all activities of her daughter, Chris and grandchildren Allie and Tyler.

Conklin has been with Burger King for one year. In this time, she has learned to open and close both the front and back areas. Conklin has recently become a team trainer to assist with training of our new team members. Conklin earned Team member of the month due to her dedication to the quality dining experience for our guests, learning multiple stations in the restaurant, and her willingness to help out the team wherever needed. When Conklin is not working, she is attending Yankton High School as a senior. She enjoys playing softball, swimming, and being with her friends and boyfriend, Brandon. She is the daughter of Christina Conklin of Yankton.
