Whether you are a student, the parent of one, or simply someone searching for career advice and job opportunities, the Regional Technical Education Center (RTEC) wants you to attend the 2008 Career Expo & Job Fair on Thursday, April 3, in Yankton.
More than three dozen businesses, colleges, technical institutes, training providers and financial organizations will be on hand to:
share information on manufacturing, healthcare and technical careers
provide opportunities to explore career interests through hands-on activities and demonstrations
explain the products and services they have available as well as share information on current and future career opportunities
offer details on specialized training, education and financial aid options.
RTEC's 2008 Career Expo & Job Fair, which is expected to be bigger and better than ever, is open to the public free of charge. It will run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, at RTEC. located one block north of the Yankton High School/Summit Activities Center at 1200 W. 21st St. in Yankton.
