The Sioux Valley Genealogical Society Education Committee is sponsoring a Beginning Genealogy Class on Saturday, April 19, in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Lutheran Church, 3300 East 18th St., Sioux Falls (cross from Cleveland School).

Topics to be covered include forms used to get organized, home sources, vital records, census records, land, wills and probates.

Doors open and registration begins at 9 a.m. Use the door on the lower level at the northwest corner of the building.

Bring a sack lunch. Beverages will be furnished.
