On The Fly At Lake Yankton

| More than 100 geese were taking advantage on the little bit of open water on the north end of Lake Yankton Friday, and they sometimes took flight to search for unfrozen openings elsewhere. The balmy winter meant we saw many area waters stay open longer before freezing up. Friday on Lake Yankton and Lewis and Clark Lake, there were no signs of ice fishing shacks, as the ice still figures to be uncertain in many areas.
